Santa Claus was deposed this past summer in a bloodless coup. My word shall be law.
We stand for the true meaning of Christmas. No more of this politically correct nonsense that has invaded our world.
Santa Claus became the symbol and figurehead of the crass commercialism so widespread today.
People live in fear of offending the "minorities" by wishing them a Merry Christmas.
People live in fear of offending the "minorities" by publicly displaying their Nativities and such.
BAH HUMBUG TO THAT, SAYS I!!!
I refuse to live in fear of some purported "minority". The media can no longer tell me what to think and believe.
I have the God-given right to express my opinion to the world.
The "minorities" have the God-given right to see and hear me express it. They can choose to be offended by what I say.
But they do not have the right to silence me. If they choose to express their views differently than me, I respect that.
So, from now on, no more "holiday trees" and other ridiculous crap like that.
Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the Babe of Bethlehem.
But, we will continue the age-old traditions of Christmas. Gift-giving among friends, to remind us of the gift the Babe gave us.
Santa Claus, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, and all the others have their place: to remind us of the Babe.
BUT THEY CANNOT, AND SHALL NOT, REPLACE HIM IN OUR MINDS AND HEARTS.
Laugh at me if you want. That is your right. But we will have fun. So, as the Christmas Revolution begins, LET US PROCLAIM:
